Keith Irwin - You better Do it Right
Traditional country from the pen of Irish songwriter Chris McLernon. Keith Irwin is a new name to me, but I'm sure he won't be for very long.
Keith Irwin - Country Truck Driving Man
Good, catchy tune that can't fail to please! Good example of fine British song writing !
Keith Irwin - I Ain't Goin' Back To Work Today
Unusual vocal style and a good, lively foot-tapper, that is certain to fill the dance floors! I like this one!!
Pete Smith's Reviews,
Keith Irwin “Drive”. Keith is a young Irishman who is steadily making his mark as a country singer. It should not be too long before this guy is known internationally especially if he keeps recording albums of this quality. Keith provides the great voice and Clive Culbertson brings the best out of him on a dozen covers and Chris McLernon originals, including “Country Truck Driving Man”, “I Ain’t Goin’ To Work Today”, “I Should Be Sleeping” and “You Better Do It Right”. The covers include “Love Never Broke Anyone’s Heart”, a country cover of the Rolling Stones’ “It’s All Over Now”, “Let Your Love Flow” and “Streets Of Bakersfield”. Chris McLernon “Hands Of Time”. This is an album I eagerly anticipated for Chris has a growing reputation as a songwriter with an increasing number of “name” performers choosing to record his work. Keith Irwin (above) is just one to appreciate this young man’s talent by recording no less than four songs on the same album
